Development Strategy

Before the war, the community was actively working to create the first in the
Chernihiv region industrial park with an area of 68 hectares, which should
significantly affect the economic and social development of the Mena
community. It was planned to place industrial and research enterprises,
warehouses, a shopping mall, and a recreation area on its territory. The
community hopes to resume work on its creation after the war.

The community is also famous for the "Popeliushka" Cave – one of the world's largest gypsum caves – and preserved archaeological monuments of the Trypillian culture.

The Tavriisk Community is known for its picturesque bays and the North Crimean Canal. During the full-scale invasion by Russian occupiers, the community's residents demonstrated courage in peaceful protests, and after the explosion at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, the community suffered a large-scale environmental disaster. Today, the Tavriisk community remains a symbol of resilience, unity, and aspiration for recovery.
